Sometimes we must move before we can hear God speak. We must choose to get out of our current situation or comfort zone and allow ourselves to be vulnerable enough to exercise our dependence on God.
Nothing Else
You’d think I would have had this Jesus stuff all figured out by now. Not so much. I knew Him & I knew my Bible, but my head still wrestled to find rest.
She is…
We all have bad habits and we make subtle choices that prevent us from being truly free; areas of compromise that have become patterns we don’t know how or if we could ever change.
Already Is
How I can trust God completely with 85% of my life and live in fear or paralysis for the other 15% as if I’m an atheist with no trust at all?
Can’t See Him
How many times in our lives do we panic or get angry because we can’t see God working or feel His presence? The truth is; although WE may not feel him, those around us are keenly aware He is there.
Get Up.
Sin is ugly & at times scary, but people are still people amidst it all. People that need to know “how to set things straight.” If we allow ourselves to be overwhelmed by our culture, we will be of no use to our culture.
He’s Got Your Back
Oh, that we could all be so sensitive and obedient to God’s Spirit, that despite being picked on or judged, we would know we have a God that sticks up for us with all the authority of Heaven.
Choices Matter
Oh, that we would remember there is a consequence for each time we are disobedient and that there was a high cost paid to then cover that disobedience; whether intentional or unintentional.
Scared of the Dark
God is light and in him there is no darkness at all…and yet, He is not afraid of the dark.
I Am What?
We unknowingly make a lot of “I am” statements that falsely declare our identity. We must remember the truth in order to really live free.
